Anyone here been on these? What do they feel like compared with a flat and smooth road surface?
I'm still happy that I can get to 30mph on 65" for a few seconds (flat, smooth, road with no wind).

Oh, it's very smooth and very little resistance. It's not about strength, but how smooth and fast you can spin. I only ever got on them once and got 24.xx, I think. (Which is *way* faster than I could ever do on road or track)

I've got a roller competition tonight - club do, against two other clubs, 4 people from each club. I've never attempted it before, I'll let you know tomorrow how I get on!

At the Chelmer hut? I've seen those rollers, CTC Essex AGM a couple of years ago, can do four at a time IIRC. They, Chelmer CC, have also got computer connected rollers. Good luck :thumbsup:.
