Let's see how bad we all are.  N.B. this test doesn't have anything to do with travellers, and uses the general "tacky and cheap" sense of the word.

3/40 for me.

I've eaten in  a Little Chef, had an animal draught excluder and taken a screw-top bottle of wine to a party.

I've never knowingly worn the same pair of socks 2 days running, even on PBP.

3 yes.   Pot noodle  :-[ , screw top wine and a draught exclude - it's an axolotl but that's another story - and it was a gift.

What about the 50% polyester? There should be an exclusion for cycling kit as opposed to leisure ware.

4, although I point out in my defence that the Stenaline ferry was on a bicycle, Little Thief use is OK provided you are on a motorcycle, and the Pot Noodle was as a  young, foolish, impoverished and hungover student..

Good point.  I have to admit not even considering that.   Given my range of ourdoor activity gear I'd have to add that in.

17 for me. Then again, I've only visited little Chef and bought 2nd class stamps to feed my audax addiction.

Come now, PB, I don't think the draught excluder counts as pikey, after all, how many pikeys do you think have heard of axolotls?  ;D

It gets better.   I have an 'axelitl' which rides out on tour in the front pocket of my barbag...

I don't see what's wrong with screw top wine bottles though, champagne has a crown cap during the riddling process!

I think it's an interesting take on what is 'pikeyish'.

Many of the things listed would actually be considered by many to be good things (e.g. good for the environment).

I'd agree.   The leaving washing out for instance, or knowing a bus driver.   Does that include the guy who regularly rides out with your local group on Sundays, or your aunt's second cousin Ronnie?   Shake 'n Vac though - bleurgh!

Leaving the washing out is a Western Isles thing. You just leave it out until it is dry. That can be weeks.

I'd be surprised if there are many who haven't bought a 2nd class stamp. Especially at this time of year. Though I suppose the servants could do that sort of thing.
There's no vibrations, but wait.
