I tried that - both my pictures are off the bike (one I'm asleep)!

How do they do that? In both your pictures (in fact, in many pictures of other people at the controls too) there's no number visible to identify you with.

I supplied the photos captioned when I knew who they were. There are people who are well known or who are just very obvious. When you get your eye in you can spot them, even if their face is obscured, by their clothes or their stance even.
One woman got into the PBP brochure twice just by having a lovely smile.

I can see why you might think that, but wives might question the motives of hubby if they saw that.

It was 6998, Mary Crawley, who has the considerable figure of Jeff Bauer to look after her. She's also pictured above another mixed tandem stoker, Sonya Crawford, who is next to her on the finish list.
Mary asked me if it wasn't enough to ride the event as I filmed on the Cote de Gambais

Mary and Jeff also feature on one the best technical photos.
That was taken by Gregg Bleakney, who features on my 2007 DVD.
