Dorte and I leave for Paris Friday afternoon. We have to set new tyres on and have the rear gear trimmed. We already have our tandem standing there after the Audax version. The b&b was nice to allow that for us. We have a b&b 7 km south of the start area, in a place called Romainville.

I am still at work until lunchtime. Then I have the afternoon off for last minute packing. Tomorrow I'm getting the first train up to London, then Eurostar and I should be dodging Parisien traffic by the afternoon.

On 16.02 Eurostar this afternoon - hoping to not to get hassle over the bike box.

After that I'll not be here, I'll be there.

But then thats neither here nor there.

Heh, I have a wheel bag, bike bag and rucksack containing my luggage box (of which the latter two are homemade!) so I *really* hope you don't get hassle!

Portsmouth - LeHavre 23:00 Friday night with chillmoister and keeks.

Gets in 8am on Saturday so should be at Hotel near the start around 11am.

Train down to London was dead, Im assuming due to school hols, hoping that Eurostar will be the same.
