I have used a 8'x6' tarp in 'lean-to' configuration with the family lightweight tent [3-person Lafuma], which though generous and roomy with good headroom, has very stingy porch space either side. This bodge is as much for storage as for cooking. We've used the tarp on its own on mild, midge-free nights in the woods, which is a bonus.

Got myself a walking stick from go outdoors for £2 now need tarp...... :thumbsup:

DD tarps any good? 3m x 3m around the £35 mark with hydro head of 3,000 or so.

Just get a Nano 3 GT, you know you want to!!

At £700 a pop dont think so (or at least not yet)
