Sounds fab and with this weather also jealous (hopefully makes up for your last trip)

Ice cream for second breakfast, wearing sunnies and reapplying suncream sat on a bench in Blackwaterfoot. Just lovely. And clearly no hills here. I mean, if there were hills I would be walking! Just the odd optical illusion. Or possibly the occasional figment of my imagination :)

Late lunch in Brodick. Sat outside in the blazing sunshine!

After a rather delicious ride back to Brodick I'm now waiting to board the ferry. Cracking good weekend!

Ode to Arran and Crinkles cakes:

The YACF’ers went to Arran on the ferry
They pitched tents on the beach, opened the wine and got merry
The next day’s cycling bought hills so big they were scary
And descents soooo steep that they were really quite hairy
But it was all ok because the weather was AMAZING and they had loads of treats from Crinkles the cake-fairy!

I am off for a nice soak with my Arran Aromatics swag bubble bath now  ;D

I'm home and definitely not clean, but am about to tackle the laundry, have got the Cubs bathed and hair washed, littly to bed and big'un will be off soon so then it'll be my turn.

I have also introduced the Cubs, CrinklyAuntie, CrinklyUncle and my next-door-neighbour (who was CrinklyCat-sitting) to tablet.  York's dentists will thank me, I'm sure.

What a fantastic time, thanks to all for company, organisation, and the weather  ;D

And thanks to my other half for the beer on return home, which led to the noodles and veg I carried round the island for 2 days becoming Sunday dinner. Happy Days!

Yes, a good outing, thanks for organising that.  You may need to cut and paste this to see the 360 degree from the campsite.

http://s346.photobucket.com/albums/p409/Olddabber/?action=view&current=DSCF2783.mp4  And no that breeze didn't cause a terrible headwind later in the day, ho ho.

I'm just having a quick break from moving between garages, it's amazing what accumulates over forty-odd years of cycling and motorcycling, "That'll come in handy one day".

On which point is anyone interested in either of these?  The 20" wheeler has been restored with new wheels (including new hub gear) and tyres; the '92 Ascent is like new with the only non-original parts being the brake blocks.  Shown with slicks but shod with the original, almost unmarked, knobblies.  Transmission is in good order, 17" frame.  Go on, you know you really want Biopace  ;D

It is much easier cycle camping when you can put your panniers in the boot!

Can you try file recovery to get them back, just as if they'd been deleted from a hard disk?

Ah - the card has got distinctly flaky.  I should just get around to finally picking up a new microSD, which I've been meaning to do for ages.  All the old ones were backed up to the laptop (note to self, remember to back up the laptop to... something, sometime.  What with having lost the lot when the phone broke and the camera and laptop both nicked all within a short space of time last year!).  And I'd uploaded a couple to fb from Friday/Saturday.  There was just a couple from Sat evening and Sunday that have gone.  Including the one of the biggest fish and chips in the world!

We'll probably have another one in the autumn.

As usual at the end of these threads, any suggestions for location?
