We've not stopped at Rowlands Castle for some time have we?
I really enjoyed the Victoria at West Marden as well.
How about somewhere else in Emsworth or on the A259 drag back from Chichester?
The other pub in Southwick.
Could we try the Horse and Jockey (?) in Denmead (past the Chairmakers).

See you all tomorrow,

Leaving Cosham library at 5pm - going to Tichborne (The Tichborne Inn?) followed by Cheriton (the Flower Pots?) and then back for a curry in Clanfield (I believe).  8)

When you chaps are on these Wednesday Night Pub Crawls Rides, are you wearing your drinking shoes (ie: ordinary ones that means you can walk with your bike should you get too merry) or normal cleated variety?
Certainly never seen cycling south of Sussex

Riggers, you complete and utter foot fetishist!!

I never had you down for a toe-jam/jackboot jackoff merchant  :o

Nobody answer him....I suspect he is at the peak of his orgasmic stroke waiting for someone to reply "I normally wear open toed sandles so my feat don't get too clammy and remain fresh to the touch..."

Oh, hold on.....

I think I may have just pushed him over the edge...

Perhaps I could add what I hope are helpful comments from the eastern regions.  As you may know, we also have a noble tradition of pub riding, inspired in no small part by the endeavours of Hummers and chums.

We have found shoes and sandals with SPD cleats are excellent for walking and cycling regardless of the wearer's state of inebriation.  One of our number has found that when particularly drunk he can't walk but can ride his bike although I'm not sure how much his choice of footwear has contributed to this dubious talent.

As Hummers himself is given to saying ... HTH.
