Display stands make it difficult to place/remove bikes at the back. I was thinking along the lines of this but I thought I'd seen something that was wall-mounted.

I love my topeak bike stand. You could keep two tandems at the bottom (one on each side with the wheels touching the floor since the weight is probably too much) and two singles on top:

Oooh, that's cute, in a requires lifting and a fair amount of wall kind of way.  I like the way they've provided holes for a D-lock.
