The TCJU are a bunch of incompetent cocks.

I had two witnesses to being knocked off by an ambulance driving without due care and attention... one of whom was a High Court Judge!  The TCJU decided that there was 'insufficient evidence' despite very full statements from the witnesses.

Ditto.  They are lazy, lying cockwombles.

I really think this needs national publicity. If Martin Porter can get nowhere despite his skilz and helmetcam, nobody has a chance.

The response that I now get from the TCJU is that my allegations can not be pursued 'due to lack of independent evidence'. This is despite being asked by the police in the first place to make the formal allegation. The TCJU didn't even deign to watch the supplied footage of this incident:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/-dpDvYrcFEI&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/-dpDvYrcFEI&rel=1</a>

The combination of the TCJU and Croydon Police has proved to be 'the most obstructive and evasive force' that my mother in law's solicitor has dealt with in thirty years (She is a specialist in RTC head injury claims). They have already denied my mother in law justice and have issued ultimatums in response to IPCC findings against them that show that they are quite happy to deny her the opportunity to rebuild her life rather than serve the public interest.

Over the last few months I have spent more time filling in statements reporting incidents on my commute than actually commuting. I've been surprised at how willing the local police and the CPS have been to investigate and then prosecute on the basis of my verbal and written evidence. But then, the drivers responsible had got out of their cars and threatened assault or launched homophobic tirades and the TCJU weren't involved. The only time I've seen the TCJU leap into action was after a driver  received a whiplash injury after being struck by another car. It makes me even angrier at their appalling treatment of a pedestrian struck by a speeding, unlicensed, hit and run driver; left in the road without a pulse, without a breath in her body and severe brain damage.
A world of bedlam trapped inside a small cyclist.

It's upsetting, isn't it? I don't have the same expectations - for me I'm fairly happy with Roadsafe for the minor stuff. Their purpose is to send letters to educate drivers so that they improve future behaviour, and for me personally their purpose is nothing more than to get the video link to the driver so they realise their rego is indexed in Google and their behaviour is not anonymous, but their shame is public. I've a playlist of videos where drivers have purportedly commented on their videos, or I've had a company response. I think it is having an effect, since most are clearly distressed to have their behaviour on YouTube and number plate in Google, possibly their company name if a liveried vehicle, and lots of usually negative comments from YouTube commentors.

I have another playlist for repeat customers. Some improve dramatically, and some don't. My most recent repeat improved so much I even got a thank you for making their overtake easy after again holding them up through a pinch point. Admittedly this Smart sports car driver didn't get Roadsafed, I found his rego on a forum and PM'd him.

Wendy, I think you're doing a great service. I don't think enforcement should be left outside the police and judiciary. I'm appalled that this is how it seems in many cases.

A public channel of shame is very effective. Wendy's commute takes him through my part of the world, and I can't watch his videos without a catch of dread that it'll be my appalling driving that he points out next.
That's either genius, or insanity.  I'm not entirely sure which.

Wow, thanks very much guys!! Yes, I agree that we shouldn't have to do this, but it's the only thing I can do to improve matters. Ten or a hundred thousand camera toting cyclists would improve matters further, since I can't see traffic enforcement getting any better under this government. Better still, many motorists turning to cycling would improve matters far more, and that scenario is almost certain given the economy and ever rising price of oil.

Well, to rest your concerns, I upload only a tiny minority of drivers, so it's extremely unlikely that you'd be in on there. Given that you're a cyclist, I think it's even more unlikely that you would drive at all badly anyway. I also recognise that we all make mistakes, myself as much as the next person, so on the 0.000001% chance you did get uploaded, anyone can PM me and ask to have it removed. I'm not quite as quick to remove stuff as Gaz is, but I remove videos regularly.

I love your clips wendy, but it's scary there are people out there like your spitter who are completely untraceable.
