To be fair, the rectal and vaginal mucosa have always been excellent delivery methods for any kind of drug – usually far more effective than swallowing them and having them fight through the digestive system. You want to avoid injecting or smoking your heroin, well, there's your option (a different high apparently). Of course, the popularity of reverse parking random stuff up your lower portals is variable.

I'm rather glad my US campus exploits regarding rapid boozahol ingestion were limited to keg stands1 and shotguns2.

1You get held upside down on top of pressurised beer keg, tube in mouth. The idea is to see how long you can keep drinking for.

2Knock hole in bottom of can, hold to mouth, pop tab.
