Use for Gü Puddings containers?
TimO:
Has anybody got a use for the small glass containers that Gü Puddings come in?
I buy these occasionally, normally when there's a special offer on, because they are generally outrageously expensive. The small glass containers that they come in, look like they should have some use, but unlike things like jam jars, they don't have lids, so I've yet to find anything I can do with them.
If all else fails, I can recycle them with anything else glass, like wine and beer bottles.

Crème Broule? Also for standing tealight in or filling with wax and making candles
Sergeant Pluck:
Ramekins.
I’m the same: Gü when they are on special offer. I just recycle the ramekins but I keep a few handy for e.g. holding measured quantities of spices when I’m about to cook. Or as parts holders for bits and bobs when I’m fettling.
I wonder if the glass is more or less environmentally friendly than a plastic equivalent... suppose it would depend on how many get recycled.

Yeah, that.
pcolbeck:
Good for small individual portions of things when you have guests, salsa, home made pate, chocolate mouse etc.
