Buffalo outdoor.

(1/1)

cuddy duck:
Took the plunge on a Special 6 shirt as my sole item of upperwear for a winter walk of the South Upland Way a couple of years back. Coped admirably with some hostile conditions, always warm even when drenched, and dispensing with the layering system made for a blessedly light pack.
But it's their excellent customer service I'm flagging today. A slight fault, from new, on one of the venting zips, made it difficult to disengage. Although out of guarantee, and only having my word for it that the problem was original and not the result of use and abuse, Buffalo have replaced the zip free of charge.
Great kit, great company, great service.

jogler:
I have only two regrets about giving up smoking, one being that I put on sufficient weight thay my Big6 shirt became too small ::-)

Johnny Thin:
Funnily enough, I heard about 20 years ago that if you wanted Buffalo to replace the zips you had to unpick them yourself - clearly no longer true then!  Also a standard alterations shop may be able to help - zips often aren't "broken" just seized up and they recently fixed my zip-up Buffalo jacket - this is good for campwear or over the Shirt in really nasty weather like horizontal sleet over Black Hill.

Canardly:
Looking into this .......
