I don't. When did they make them? What did they think they could bring to the pedal party?

They were made in the mid-80s AFAIR.  They were lightweight, though not as light as Vittoria's effort.  Both can be seen at http://www.speedplay.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=pedalmuseum.quill
Wheel meet again, don't know where, don't know when...

Well, they're boxed and old and rare, so they're to be kept on the shelf as a collectible, not used.  :D  So buy them!

Remember them? I have a pair at home, used but in good nick, they were my 'pursuit' pedals

They were made in the mid-80s AFAIR.  They were lightweight, though not as light as Vittoria's effort.  Both can be seen at http://www.speedplay.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=pedalmuseum.quill

as my last year of serious track racing was 1981 they would have been made at the start of the 80's which pre-dates what speedplay suggest

edit: they are very narrow, I had to saw my sidi shoeplates down with a hacksaw to get them to fit inside the supporting bar on the outside edge of the pedal
