On the commute tonight.
We managed to evade a driver who, having driven the wrong way down a one-way stretch of road, certainly wasn't going to give way at the end of it
and became peculiarly angry with us
and had quite a pleasant ride home. Lots of bikes were out, including one mobile Christmas tree (on further inspection the lights were concealing a 'bent and rider).
Then I turned into our road, my front wheel shot out from underneath me, and I lay there in a tangle of ripped bib tights and lot of pain.
Special mention at this point should go to the pedestrian who simply continued walking straight past whilst I tried to crawl away from the junction.
And of course, the law of sod dictates that they were my lovely new fleecy tights that had only been worn once before.
