One or both of the dogs is minging like I.G. Farben. Last night the missus gave them the remains of a vanilla dessert the Inlaw Paw didn't want.

He is making stupid attention-seeking squeaking noises. This is because he normally has a dental chew at 4pm, and he hasn't had it yet.

I shall find it for him. Then he will be nomming it.

Its not got too noisy here yet so I don't think it was that.
She goes in there fairly often because a)my neighbour often leaves the door open (thankfully Pumpkin hasn't sussed cat flaps yet) and b)there's naughty cat food to be stolen there. But I encourage my neighbour to shoo her out or she'll just help herself to any food going anywhere.

I think the issue is that she's tremendously nosey/greedy but also wary of other people, so she got 'trapped' in there.

Tonight she's been up the same neighbour's chimney

And her peachy paws are now all black and covered in soot

This afternoon she managed to get shut in the wash house

Aww!

Congrats on grandparenthood Feline! I know my niece and nephew are great with my stepdad's two moggies because they've grown up around them all their lives and know to be gentle.. The moggies are remarkably tolerant too.

Little Monster Cat is at the vets recovering from having a hole in her tail sewed up (vet thought it was an abscess, but it's apparently a nasty gash). I presume a fight with another cat.

She is out on a walk with Gudula my landlady.

Do you know, Poppy has about the best possible life for a dog! She lives in a house with minimum 3 people, often six people there. She is allowed everywhere, everyone loves to cuddle her, she sleeps on my bed or on Lars's pillow when he is home from Uni, she gets long walks, she gets taken out in the car regularly, she has been to University in Berlin a few times, she has made four visits to Berlin and stayed there for up to two weeks (without me), she knows all the local people and pretty much everyone in my village loves dogs, she is allowed in shops, restaurants etc so often travels with us, she is loved by everyone and her tail is always wagging.

I think it would be hard for a dog to have a better life really!

Ha, our Tilley has a few reindeer, bought over several Xmases by my mum. Rudolph, Blitzen and, er, Ropey. She doesn't disembowel these toys for some reason. She does know them all by name and finds them on command. Collies are too clever for their own good.
