COVID and office ventilation?
« on: 08 April, 2020, 12:56:59 pm »
Is there any guidance about working in a room/office which has air con (recirculating ventilation etc) and how this fits with social 2m distancing.  i.e. is social distancing actually possible in the usual air con environment?

I'd guess it would depend on the quality of the filtration....  so probably not.

If I were at work, I would be working in an office that has fresh-air aircon, with filtration and sensors for C02 levels (if they get high in a room, fresh air supply is boosted to that room).

I'd still be more worried about door handles, office equipment, etc.
