I have corrected my contacts in my mobile, so Regulator won't be getting any more abusive or suggestive messages / voicemails.

We have moved :D. Nearly. Just a few boxes and about a dozen bikes to go. Then 2 months of unpacking and we'll be done.

Compliments were passed on my ability to utilize theatrical make up.

I am a free agent :) I dunno if that's good or bad but today I slept in, read a few chapters of me book and errr watched a few too many episodes of Ghost Whisperer.

My Daddy Long Legs have arrived from New Zealand :)

Unfortunately they're a Christmas present so I won't get to use them until December :(

Oh Happy Day!  :D :D :D

My new machine is ready for collection!!!!!

A trip to Surrey is being planned for this afternoon and photos of the new toy may be available this PM.

Now all I need to think of is a name for her...

And a big ***RASPBERRY*** to Mike - it's not yet Christmas (despite what the shops think) and she is ready!

I have just bought a bike. I'm very happy because that completes my fleet**.

Bike A) Road fixie - For commuting and generally getting from A to B
Bike B) Good old slick tired MTB - Used as a hybrid for commuting when I'm feeling under the weather, getting the shopping, towing trailers, riding trails and maybe even touring.
Bike C) MTB - For learning to ride rough stuff - I'm pleased I'll no longer be wearing out the knobblies and other nice componentry on the road with mundane* utility trips
Bike D) Tandem - Only really half a bike but it's a lot of fun!

*Not that cycling is ever mundane, except maybe for long stretches of A road dual carriageway

**There is also bike E. My Airborne Valkyrie Ax. Bike E is only half a bike. It exists as just a frameset right now. It was the best bike I ever had. I will build it up again one day, when finances allow and we are living somewhere it's less likely to get nicked. Meanwhile, it bides it's time.

I just got another refund for a late train journey. It's funny how the anger and frustration at the time of being delayed are all forgotten when really money comes through the post.  ;D (Well vouchers actually, but it feels like money).

Kali and I have been out for our first ride!     Just a quick five miles round Pimlico, Chelsea and Vauxhall.

I like very, very much!  She's light, responsive and damn good fun.  It's a bit odd being on smoothish 25s (Gatorskin Ultras) and you have to watch the road surface a bit - but she seems to hold the road well.

I just hope it's a nice day tomorrow so we can get out for a proper ride.

For now I shall satisfy myself with looking like this -  ;D
