Trying to Declutter Osmand Screen - SOLVED

Currently, the Osmand screen on my device , when displaying a map of a town or city, is cluttered with symbols for shops, restaurants etc.

How can I get rid of these?

The Osmand Help guide states removing POI (Points of Interest), which was disabled anyway.

Found it!

I needed to go to Configure map->Map rendering->Hide->POI Icons & POI Labels

Usefully tho, you can turn them on selectively. (click on the globe icon top left, then POI Overlay). I have Drinking water, Gas stations, and food turned on. Very useful when doing big cycle trips.
