I like the direction of the MEMWNS - Maldonish Everyweek MWNS. Might even put in yet another appearance.

Not out tonight - feeling misanthropic and haven’t ridden a bike in 2 months…
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

That's a shame I wanted to chat Teslas with you given my imminent change of employment...

Changing the subject a little... I have just dropped a PM out to everyone who has expressed an interest in the bivvy / camping mini adventure at chief's this Friday night.  If you haven't received a PM please let me know.

It should be a smashing affair, we've had a drop out so could fit one or two latecomers in, contact me in you fancy it.

We’re you riding out about 18:45 ?  I was driving to a do at Braxted Park and saw a group of well lit riders.

Slightly strange request...

Basically I need a lift.  At 1100hrs on Saturday 23rd October I have to go into Broomfield hospital to have a benign lipoma removed from the top of my left arm.  The Current Mrs R will be at work and I'm not allowed to use public transport cos of COVID.  I am allowed to ride in a car wearing a mask being driven by someone also wearing a mask.  TCMR can collect me once she has finished work.

Could one of you lovely folks give me a lift from Witham to Broomfield?  Happy to pay for petrol.  :-*

So this week.... ?

I might be able to manage a more Western venue next week as I will be inbetween jobs but would be good to not venture too far again this week.... After the weekends shenanigans I have realised I am not quite healed yet...

How many QH's are there in the area. And how many have decent beer?

Seems to be a common pub name. Happy with the one in Boreham.

QH Boreham is very much a Western venue.

Hopefully somebody will be happy to join me for an EER outing ?

Happy to do QH Boreham but it's definition by Ted as a Western Venue doesn't match mine! It's about as far East as I could go...

If the EER do a split, could we do something near to Chelmsford for Jiber but on the Western side?

Otherwise, happy with QH Boreham to make things easy.

Here's a rough map of MEMWNS Pubs  -a few are gone now (Viper, 3 Elms, Crown Messing) and a couple added since (QH Boreham & Maldon) The COG hasn't moved much, but if anything it is probably moved West as we have more Westeners now which might be partly balanced by the Colchester mob...

It's Octoberfest still at the OT Chelmsford as a note... but that's right on my doorstep...

QHB is an 80k round trip. Cats is about 60k. Cats wins for me,

OT allows train assist at least.

I am equally happy for a split or even just  a Western outing if there are no EER volunteers,

Jiber's map is missing a few of our recent favourites.
