Phone Error Message
« on: 22 September, 2011, 08:14:38 am »
I've got an error message appearing on my phone:
Quote
server 500 for request types 62,16

What does this mean?  Should I be worried?  And how can I correct it, or at least stop the message popping up?

Server response 500 is an error on the server side, so it could be that an application that you are using is unable to get information it needs 'cos the server is fubar'd.

Not a lot you can do at your end, unless you know which app it is.  If you know which app it is then kill that app off and the error will appear no more.

I was having a look at the mapping/navigation apps on the phone, which seem interconnected in a way I fail to understand, so it could be one of those.  I turned off the GPS, but it's still happening :(
