Getting back on topic  :P

The Blue Boar was definitely the pick of the pubs last night but it was pleasant to sit by the mud at the Hythe.

Are we continuing with making the most of the light nights/going as far east of Dunmow as possible or is there a consensus towards the more miles less beer approach ?

We still have Rowhedge, YC, Tollesbury, Heybridge Basin to do by the seaside.

As these destinations are all on your doorstep  :o will you be doing a few laps of mersea as a warm up  ::-)

Ah, you noticed  O:-)

38 miles last night so no extra laps required.

YC is a bit different so I will head up to SPA and join you for the trip down.

Sorry Giles!

I'm confused, what's this about The Hustler?  Isn't The Hustler a gentlemen's magazine???

Andy c33 by any other name.

Now re-named the Hustler due to his tendency to talk down his climbing ability only to soar away at the end of long rides.

Ah I see!  What with the dogging I was worried that our moral compass was on the blink!

There are 3 sorts of compass:

1. Navigational
2. Drawing circles, measuring as used by stonemasons
3. Moral to guide us through the dogging, gentlemen's magazine (Hustler) maze

I know you like going fast Ted (especially on the flat!) how about this sort of pace for the peloton next week https://youtu.be/k0yVGTGaw1Q 47KPH average for an hour then ramping up for the final five laps for a sprint finish!!!

If you look closely you will see the Hustler tucked in by Ed Clancy  :o

I'm not sure there is a 47km long downhill section in these parts  :P

I don't suppose the Hustler would wear his sponsored gear on a Wednesday night.

It doesn't need to be downhill those guys had a slight incline to contend with on the North Colonade in Canary Wharf! Plus we have lead out men Trainmanbri and Tomsk to tuck in behind initially, just watch out for the Hustler popping up at the line to grab the sprint finish  :o

If they kept at the pace they were riding too last night quite a few...... only downside would be they can't drink any ale if they stop  :'(

I think the point was to ride to the Spoons not use the team car  talking of team cars I have heard of an audaxer who had a bike delivered to him at Boston due to mechanicals with his current steed, ring any bells.........  ;D
