Brevet Card Stamps

The only prize you usually get for doing an Audax is the card with the stamps on

Some of them are vaguely interesting and/or artistic...here are a few

Nice.

We should have a yACF stamp that randomly appears at different events.

It would be cool on a YACF-organised event.

Or if YACF organised a multi-event night control, that different organisers could route through.

Helpers would of course all be pinafored-angels bearing apple pie and custard. (Not sure what the gurrls should wear ... )

Riders could pay extra to not receive the Special Extras.

I'm voting for Spiderman outfits and brandishing roask pork in buns with apple sauce.

Interesting to see the Torplex stamp.  I live in hope of getting a card following this year's event so I can see it for myself.

I tried to get some of these made for my event to no avail; gave up in the end and just made little stickers with pictures of landmarks round the route,

where do you get them from?

here are a few

Jealous! Not least, of BC400 finish time.

I should have smudged the times on the photos but ICBA

3:18am is in excess of 21 hours so it isn't fast as such.

I've remembered I have some other cards that are older.  So there might be a part two with more stamps

I know, but still jealous of that 3-ish hours lead! Though it's nice seeing the daylight grow.

Looking forward to it if you do it.

Last Brevet Cymru took me over 24 hours because the weather was bad, I got lost and had a couple of punctures.  No, I don't know how I managed to get lost.  I hate the last bit on the Brevet Cymru.  When you get to Usk it feels like you are nearly at the end but then it drags on and on and on.  As rides in Wales go, Brevet Cymru isn't a favourite

The Irish Mail 400 is running again next year however

I liked the "'Ow Do" and "Sithee" stamps at Middleton Tyas on LEL 2009:-
