I have used Colourtech once, directly*, but it was a long time ago and they are/were just down the road.

* I think a couple of other sprays done by the LBS were sent there.

On hold until I find out whether I need to replace the Brompton's rear triangle.

Those are difficult to source too, because of Brompton being awkward >:(

In the UK certainly but not elsewhere. Having a close look at the swingarm pivot, corrosion has locked up the pivot and possibly damaged the housing for the pivot bushes. If so, the main frame may be scrap too. Something to check out tomorrow, maybe.

Stem expander currently soaking in penetrating oil.

Thread resurrection as I am looking to get a frame repainted in or around London.

I am powder coating the Brompton and trike with Aurum

What was the experience of Aurum?

Aurum was good and durable and completed when promised. I asked for a thicker than normal coat on my Brompton and it is holding up well. Trike is ‘Rust in pieces’ now but still looked good. Quoted price did not include VAT. They are slow with emails, quick with phone calls. I had to clean out some threads myself, despite Aurum saying they would blank out all threads. I will use them again, probably for my rusty Pomp, once I get the stuck seatpost out.
