An alternative to e-recumbents

Tech Ingredients is a pretty insane YouTube channel who usually go into minute detail about their projects, so I can only assume this is an introductory video to the project.

They demonstrate an alternative power unit for a semi-recumbent delta trike. The thing that amused me was he was at pains to point out that because it wasn’t Road legal, keeping the original transmission allowed you to travel via public roads to your chosen use site without the need for a trailer. (With said trailer behind the demonstration). He then proceeded to ride the trike up and down the public road in front of their warehouse  ;D

Anyway, here’s the link Tech Ingredients does a Colin Furze

Nothing new in the world. There is an upright tadpole trike of 1930s (?) vintage in the Lakeland Motor Museum (Backbarrow, south endge of the Lake District) with the motor mounted infront of the handlebars. Very Biggles!
