Thinner soled trainers for gym

I had a pair of Nike Pegasus which have died. I used them for my weight training sessions and if I used a treadmill as they had thin soles and an average heel to toe drop.
Sadly they have terminal smell and are no more.

The replacement seems to have a thick cushioned sole like my Hokas which I do not like in the gym.

To save me going to an actual shop can the group recommend suitable replacements?
Not looking for expensive particularly just an average pair but an old fashioned thin ish sole.

Saucony Kinvara are a running shoe with 4mm drop and thinnish soles.

Inov-8 do various things that may suit - although mine are off road shoes so probably not what you want.
