Following a 4 hour ride on Sunday in shoes that I've not worn for that long in a while (though still Specialized like my other two pairs) I've developed a strange sensation in my left foot. It's towards the outer edge, just forward of the ball of the foot, sort of where the pad under the toes is. It feels sort-of numb, and slightly tender. It's not exactly painful, but I can notice it when I walk, and I think it's slightly swollen around there.
Any thoughts? Could it potentially be something like a stress fracture?
