In support of the Parliamentary debate on Monday and to raise our profile as the second biggest city in the UK;
Meet for breakfast, some energy boosting food, at Victoria Square followed by a short ride around the Council House. BBC will cover the event we need to be there 9:45 latest to get into the news throughout the day.

I know it is Sunday-and everyone wants a lay in but COME ON BIRMINGHAM!!

Show your support for a greener more pleasant city where even your children and granny are safe to cycle around without the risk of tragedy..in demand of segregated bike lanes-Dutch Style and lower speed limits..

This is our City, It is what we make of it, claim back your rights
Come as you are in your pyjamas or as a zebra, bird or lampshade on a bike..make it fun

SEE YOU ALL THERE

Well, people actually turned up, though it suffered from the usual faffiness of Critical Mass, in the absence of an obvious organiser.

No obvious sign of the media.  I wondered if it was a ruse and they were off taking photos of empty cycling facilities somewhere.

The ride got stopped by police on Broad Street, but after some discussion they seemed happy to let it continue.  Barakta and I took the opportunity to take the downhill route home from Five Ways.

Yes.  Nice little ride out.  Slightly quicker than a CM which was nice.
I didn't see the police as I peeled off just before Broad Street.
Went to Stirchley Co-op for breakfast in their cafe, and to pick up a little shopping.  (constantly repeating to myself "Only a Barley, no panniers" as I wandered the isles)
I just about got it all in.  :)
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
