Best known for playing Deep Throat in All The President's Men, but I liked him best as loony Lieutenant Briggs in Magnum Force.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

One of those people the mention of whose name evokes the question "Good Lord, is he still alive?"  Until he isn't. RIP and all that.

I was watching Midway the other day. He played Commander Joseph Rochefort in that.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.
