We went to Blackpool last Friday to see the Fireworks, we rode from where the Illuminations started and back down the Golden Mile, the horses were interesting, being on bikes meant we could stop at will to get shots and I was drawn to a watering trough from 1909, it brought it home to me how Blackpool is a strange layer cake with survivals from the 19th century working next to extreme modernity.
