Fruit Juicer
« on: 19 February, 2017, 05:43:06 pm »
I just bought a Fruit Juicer.  After some experimenting and testing, it works well, but orange juice made with it is about 2½ times more expensive than buying freshly squeezed orange juice, and that's ignoring the cost of the juicer itself and my time !

So, does anyone have any suggestions for novel fruit juices, the sort of thing I can't buy in a supermarket, or other suggestions about using it?

It made some nice pineapple juice, although I then overdid the lemons and limes, and made it rather too sharp !
Actually, it is rocket science.

'Ugly' fruits go into juice, which makes it cheap...

I'm sure more energy is expended cleaning these smoothie makers than making the smoothies...

Oysters and Weatabix?

Last night's take away?  With mangos,  if you like.

Pickled egg and cheese & onion crisps smoothie?
