That sounds like me. The value of the bikes on our old Toyota Carina is always higher than the value of the car, often in the order of 50x

Ditto. Two of my bikes are (each) worth more than my car is and a third is close.

£11,800 for the bikes, I remember when you could almost buy a house for that.
