Interesting....straightforward route to Peterborough then a sharp turn South. Which way is the wind blowing?

Come on guys, the boy has been on the road for 4 hours.

Maybe these daily threads just aren't needed any more.  The running average seems to be around half a dozen posts a day or thereabouts since the restart.  One of which is usually "he started a couple of hours ago".  And another is "Go Steve".

That volume and level of engagement suggests to me that these threads are not really needed and simply clutter the board.  All in my opinion of course, I suspect some people get comfort from seeing the daily post tick up given what happened earlier this year when Steve was wiped out.

Indeed. Power on.

It's been a nice day in Surrey, almost the opposite to yesterday.  Blue skies and very little wind.  And none of the wet stuff.  Hopefully this has spread to Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties.

I wonder if Steve is still pondering manure and eggs as he ranges around the East of Englandshire :)

Spotted him by chance this evening at around 21:15 , steady red light on the horizon, I thought nah, can't be - nice surprise to catch him up and see the 1YTT kit and metronomic rhythm - Steve looked to be going well. Made my day :-)  Unfortunately I was in a car on my way to an appointment, so no chance of a natter.

Go Steve!

Maybe these daily threads just aren't needed any more.

Stop starting them then  ;)
It is simpler than it looks.

Sleep well, boy.

Yes, good riding. If he were to keep going at today's rate, he'd be back at the WR pace as early as the first week in October.

Go Steve.
