Steve's out of the bowl but still going loopy.  What's the A5 like to ride?

depends on where you are. Around MK it's a run of the mill dual carriageway. South of this are three hills and the traffic dense shithole that is Dunstable. North of MK is a rolling single carriageway.

"Booted out of the bowl" is Steve's Strava comment.

Just think of all the other world champions, regardless of the sport, (think football, golf, rugby, London/New York marathon), Ironman event, where mid challenge, someone turfs you off the course/venue.

Quite unthinkable. But of course there are no cameras or journalists there.

What would the BBC commentator say...?

Yeah, but this is more like sailing round the world than a marathon or sportsball match.  Not really a fair comparison, even if Steve had arranged exclusive use of the Bowl for the duration of the attempt.

So Steve hasn't lost his sense of humour, (or the strava poster has found one)

From memory of his triking around there, isn't there a Car Boot there on Sundays?

There's certainly one on Google Maps.
