Is this the throbbing nervecentre of the underground bunker in a hollowed-out volcano that is citycycling HQ?
Getting there...

Which reminds me - I owe you an article.  :-[ :-[ :-[ My excuse is that the last year has not been a good time to write about that particular subject, as there have been many changes.  Um - it will be forthcoming if I can get a job...

I seem to remember a rather big change in your life around the time it was first mooted!  :)

So how do you like it? Are you wanting to kill or hug me?

PS - I do really like the red lamp!

Big manly hug mate. I'm lovin' it (as the obese kids say). Within a few weeks I've already been finding myself doing things on the PC at work then realising that only works at home and getting really frustrated with the work computers. Stuck some more memory in it (from Crucial.com) and seems plenty fast enough for me.

The big test was getting the last issue of cc online from it, and it went perfectly, in fact more easily than before. I'm very very impressed. The only problem has been trying to connect wirelessly with Mel's Vista laptop, but we'll get round that - oh, and getting all my outlook contacts off the old PC and onto this.

The lamp was bought from Habitat about 5 years ago (when I made a break to (very short-lived) singledom, sharing a flat again with a mate.
