A brief glance at the gym website tells me that the evil yoga instructor has been replaced, so I can start yoging again without - hopefully - getting hurt again.

And I've had a good (non-stressful, productive, got everything fixed that they've told me about and am so far not running late!) morning at work.  Although I forgot to put my school uniform so am in still in my scruffs.  Again.

Went down to College Green (grassy area in centre of Bristol outside cathedral and other significant buildings) this afternoon so Little Cudzo could practice on his new scooter. There was a stall advertising "Free tea and coffee" with something about an ecumenical chaplaincy. I assumed at first it was for the homeless, but no, they were handing out tea, coffee, hot chocolate and pancakes to anyone who wanted. And while they were happy to talk about their faith, they weren't at all pushing it - not really even mentioning it apart from discreet badges. Yeay, spread the joy of free tea!

I'm not Fundamentalist about it, but I'm all in favour of Teaism!

Ceylon, Darjeeling, Kenyan, English Breakfast, even Earl Grey, I welcome all varieties.  ;D

I just had my first driving lesson in twenty five years!!!!

To get me over The Fear, post RTA.

It went very, very well, and I did roundabouts, 'neveryfink!  I really thought I might not even dare to pull out from the kerb.

I am very pleased and smug.

Also, the instructor was very strict on looking out for cyclists,  this is most reassuring, to say the least.

Tomorrow, I will do another lesson.  This time, junctions in rush hour!

Wish me luck.

Just checked in the bike for travel down south. The expected excess baggage charge didn't appear. The bike was checked through to Cape Town so the extra handling charge at Jo'burg won't appear either. Not disappointed at all.

We cancelled our subscription for Eurosport after I had to admit to Mrs eck that, after falling asleep just once too often during  a live Tour stage, there was indeed such a thing as too much cycling on the telly.   :-[

But, Feline, be prepared for at least another three years of Sky drones phoning you to give you great offers to stay with them......  :hand:
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

My sister is still employed. Her redundancy has been postponed until the end of the FY. Another month of money for her.
