Ordered a 26 inch (wheel) rear end from D-tek for Barbara's six month old trike, IMHO (and Barbara's) it really is that much better

The Rapha sale got me with a Jersey and pair of 3/4's. Hoping the stuff is as good as claimed.

Went to a car boot sale on Sunday and ended up buying a set of Deore mechs, shifters, crankset & bottom bracket, plus riser handlebars & stem, all in hardly used condition for £23.  :D

I suppose I better start another bike project, now.  ::-)
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Yesterday I ordered a Avid BB7 disc brake (as mentioned here) for my commuter, and it arrived today! :o  I haven't that kind of service in ages, not even from Wiggle.
;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

I've also bought a pair of bib-shorts from Evans. Fingers crossed that they actually turn up as they were the last pair in stock, which happened to be my size, so at a hefty discount.

Well, they turned up - but despite being in the men's section, and all the reviews being from men, they were the ladies shorts!
They went straight back again, and I bought a different pair from cyclelane in Glasgow. Now I can try them for a couple of weeks and give them some washes before PBP.

Indeed it does. Why, do you perchance know someone who might be interested in a beinn24 later this summer? ;)

Some 26" tubes with actual Presta valves on them, as I remembered that all my spares metamorphosed into Schrader just before the Dun Run, and the Exmouth Exodus is due to have apocalyptic weather this year.

merino ls jersey from on-one. a bit itchy on bare skin but i will wear it on top of my usual base layer, in case it's cold. this jersey, windstopper gilet and waterproof jacket should keep me warm on cold and rainy nights during the french ride.

A pack of massively powerful neodynium magnets, to replace the missing crank magnet for my cadence sensor and avoid that zip tie silliness. They came in a pack of 10, the spare 8 are now acting as the most powerful fridge magnets I have ever owned!

Also teh shiny new SONdelux dyno hub in a Mavic Open Pro wheel hand built by SJS. No more wheel swapping between my Sabbath and Fuji commuter  :D
Durano plus tyre and rim tape for the above.
Castelli Nanoflex leg warmers so I have a spare set for PBP.
Rhubarb and custard energy gels.
A brooks saddle cover.

A pack of massively powerful neodynium magnets.....

Under no circumstances should you place these on opposite sides of your ear lobe.

Do not ask how I know this  :-X

I thoroughly endorse this trick.  Even if you haven't lost your magnet, sticking one or two of these on top of it (the magnetism is enough) will sort all manner of iffy sensor pickup issues with a minimum of faffing about.

They're also rather good as the basis of a quick-release hydration tube end holder.

On the Ebay ad it says:-

No mention of ears so I can see why you did that Jurek  ;)

They've stopped making the Campagnolo Classica/Heritage cotton caps so I've stocked up with four for £25 from Prendas. Three of them in white to dye at home to my own colour schemes which are yet to be decided.
