A spare pair of Specialized Sonoma shoes.  My LBS tells me they've been discontinued, and I'm not currently wildly optimistic about finding a good alternative that doesn't cost substantially more.
Half term's when the traffic becomes mysteriously less bad for a week.

One of these:

http://www.roofracks.co.uk/thule/Tow+Bar+and+Ball+Mounted+Bikes+and+Cycle+Racks+and+Carriers/929.php

And everything else associated with it (tow bar, wiring etc) and an extra bike thingummy, so I should be able to carry 4 bikes on the back of my car, and four adults in the car.

I wish, but even if I sold 1/2 my stable I would still have too many to fit on that rack :(

I thought I recognised the site - it's where I bought my Thule roof bars from ages ago.

All we need now is to get our Mille Alba entries confirmed :)

Good little bike shop that, and not good for my wallet every time I go to Carlisle.  :)

God help me. A Brooks.

Confession and flagellation in one.

(May appear on the For Sale board after the first weekend's riding)

Ordered new Koolstop Salmons for my bike, they are alarmingly worn.

Ordered same (plus holders) for Junior's roadbike, as the stock shimano pads are not so good in the wet, also they seem to chew up the rims more.

And extra chargers for the Exposure kit so I can re-change both at home and at work.

And I will nom down the little bag of haribos that wiggle give you for free :-)

My finding exactly, Shimano pads seem to be the Steptoes of the brakepad world, they hold onto every little shard of metal like it is platinum!!!! And they are shit in the wet, just how bad I discovered when I switched to Swissstop green pads.

Just ordered another Bender Fender from Charlie the Bikemonger.

Since I was out on the Surly today, I went hunting for puddles to see how the effective the one I've fitted to the front end was. The answer is 'very' - obviously not as good as 'proper' mudguards, but far more effective than you'd think, looking at it.

Seven-and-a-half quid well spent, there.

I collected and paid for my Vittoria Paves CGs today  :o
Hell they're expensive, even with the 15% discount that the LBS gives me.
Ribble had them advertised for much, much less but, since they weren't in stock, they might as well have been free.

If you look in the fettling thread, you'll see what I did this afternoon.

My first Wiggle order for a few months arrived today.  One item ordered was 3/4 length bib shorts in size large, and large was only ordered for a little more comfort over the medium that I should have ordered really.
However, I can say that I'm not flattered when I opened the box and the bib shorts were actually Extra Extra Large, what are they trying to say??  :o
Suffice to say they will soon be on their way back for replacement!

And no Haribo in the box either, must be austerity measures  :(

Other ordered items in the box were Ergon GR2-L handlebar grips, spare inner tube, SKS Chromoplastic mudgaurds - some fettling do on the new bike at the weekend  :D

New sturdy winter-safe cycle jacket, some inner gloves and a scarf thingy - mostly to stay warm on the bike in the next few months on the commute.

I did think the same for about 10 seconds and then realised what I was thinking!  Of course cake moulds are cycling related!!
