A couple of white Specialized Rib  Pro Bottle Cages off fleabay to go on my white Allez sport. I'm a little disappointed as they arent   the brilliant white that the bike is.

Yesterday, I bought (well, paid the deposit on) a new bicycle.

There will be pictures, but not until it arrives.

*happy bounce*   :)

Replacement mudguards for the Tempo.

Rear 'guard was snapped neatly in half when another cyclist ran into the back of me at traffic lights a couple of months back.  Have been procrastinating getting a new one ever since, because I hate fitting the *+%n things, but recent weather suggests that I shouldn't put it off too much longer.
Half term's when the traffic becomes mysteriously less bad for a week.

A Topeak Super Tourist Rack for the Snow Bike.  It looks reasonably solid, and has a crud guard bit built in, so I won't bother with mudguards on this bike.

I also put in an order for a couple of spare Exposure Lights Quick Release mounts, one of which will also go on the Snow Bike.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Some Torq Gels.  They aren't that great to eat, but they're the fastest things I know of to recover from a Hypo.

Just out of curiosity I've ordered some of the ones with Guarana, and if they come before Friday, I'll be able to see if they help with staving of sleepiness on the FNRttC.

Snap!  My second one arrived today.

Slightly different front units, though.  First had hi/low settings; this has hi/flash settings.

Also had one of these today, from the same seller, just as emergency 'gets darker quicker than you think' light for the rucksack.

Has hi/low/flash settings and although the headband is a bit tight (easily fixed by just chopping the adjustment clip), performs considerably better than my Ever Ready headlight:-

Apparently in my absence this week, there has been an outbreak of common sense and we have purchased a trimetals bike bunker, due to arrive in several convenient bits for construction-entertainment aplenty next week.

But will I dare to let the Very Lovely Valencia sleep in it?

A new chain breaker and a new crank puller to replace worn out ones. Also a chain wear checker which will tell me that the chain on my Langster needs replacing

A spoke from Bikefix (silver rather than the black that's on the wheel since that's all they had and it'll at least get me rolling again).

(Oh, and a pack of 6 more spokes (extra spares, black this time) and some V-Brake blocks from SJS)

To celebrate my (hopefully) new works contract, I lashed out on a set of XTR shifter cables to (again, hopefully) sort out my shifting problems on the newspaper-round bike.

Any more such crap and I'll go single speed! :-\

Yesterday I got a whole bunch of spoke reflectors from LIDL.  Also came into possession of a Brooks B17N (via this forum).  Looked shockingly narrow on it's own, but not so bad compared to a standard B17.  The fettling list for Monday will include moving the B17 to the Orbea hybrid and putting the B17N on the Ribble.

;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

Still waiting for my third and fourth one of these - first two are great!

Sorely tempted to buy about 50 sets and sell them on at a modest profit when the offer from HK ends! :smug:

I saw the ones with gold instead of red, but thought it was only 30p or so cheaper. Anyway I have a red frame  :smug:

Ortlieb bar bag. Winging it's way to me from Probikekit.com for my first touring/chilling-out bike ride around the Devon and Cornwall coast in a few weeks' time.

6 speed Shimano Tourney thumbshifters also arrived for a friend, so I'll be spannering at some point to fit them.
