Wed 15th June happens to be national beer day apparently..... just saying ;)

The Swan, Little Totham Beer Festival on next week.... probably my anniversary of MEMWNS as well I suspect...

It would be rude not to!  And you're right, the archives suggest Wednesday June 17th 2015 saw your first appearance among our number, and it was The White Swan beer fest - how's that for symmetry?

Veering way off-tpoic... There is a pub called The Black Swan in Leek, Staffs.  Commonly known there as "The Mucky Duck".
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Probably a tad far even for Tomsk for a MEMWNS visit

Well, assuming that we are willing to risk a night without Mr Responsible to lead us, the Swan at Totham looks like being favourite.  It was extremely wet last year and this year looks like it could be the same.  At least they have tents to shelter under.

I will try to intersect with the Witham peloton as long it isn't moving too quickly.

I think you will probably find Mr Responsible at The White Swan in his fetching socks and sandals....! that man knows how to pay the #sockgame #sockdoping properly

Not on those roads with all me gear on fixed! I might even get dropped off at Kelvedon!

What's that food you said you lived on called. I seem to remember Apfelkuken and Schlag so I assume it involve apple cake/tart and cream?

Its common across the area, but this was the best version I had on the trip.  Beer good to!

Hello Zienna,
The peloton seems to be somewhat depleted this week for various reasons but there should be some departing from the Spa Road/Powers Hall End roundabout at about 7:30pm.  Remember to stand on the grass to wind up the not-really-neighbour across the road.
Plan A is to head for the Swan at Little Totham for their beer festival.  No one has proposed a route to get there yet, usual form is to arrive at the destination refreshments at about 9pm so a circuitous route would be needed for Little Totham.
Watch this space for any regulars coming up with a proposal....

I do have a route but due to lack of planning time it's a bit obvious and because of lack of know how this might not work https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14430418
