Anyone for a teacake?

Isn't it great when we have to get lawyers involved to decide wheather a teacake is a cake or a biscuit

Given that Jaffa Cakes were declared cakes ages ago in a similar case, I wonder why this ruling took so long for these teacakes...

How does one define a cake from a biscuit?

I seem to remember that the key decisive feature from the Jaffa case was that a cake goes harder when it is left out, and a biscuit goes softer.

Nope, just the teacakes I'm afraid. Although they do have some other unusual jerseys

Cyclops, my wife hates cycling clothes but she loves Tunnock's teacakes.  I think with that top she would face a slight dilemma.

That's a fruit teacake. A plain teacake has no currants in it. I like toasted fruit teacakes with butter.

That's a fruit teacake. A plain teacake has no currants in it. I like toasted fruit teacakes with butter.
Your quite right Kirst, I only tend to buy the fruit ones though. Now, anyone for a barm cake?
