Fair enough.  So sell / give away the Milano and that makes room for a new bike!
You're all very bad peoples, now you've got me looking at this

Yeah, that would last about 3 miles on Essex roads  :-\

huggy being The Sensible One probably won't buy a bike to which you can't fit lights like some other fuckwit we know  ::-)

I grant you (pardon the pun) that it wouldn't be any good for any of OD's or Ted's COR'ing but other than that it will withstand the test of time just avoid any large potholes which could prove extremely costly...... failing that I believe, Andy, Tippers and Ted all have good team car support that could bring Claud or the Vaya out to you! It's worth noting Ted's team support travels the breadth of the country something like this

Sorry I think I meant this

 ;D

I might be mistaken but I don't think those bikes capable of being ridden at 76kph would be that safe in the dark hence the lack of light fitting capabilities  ::-)  :-*
On the plus side I can fit a rear light quite easily to my Focus which others SSN struggle with  ;)

Doggers, I'm not aware of you slowing down in the dark so your excuse is marked as "pathetic!"   ::-)

I wish I could ride at 76kph but alas I think that is even beyond my capabilities....... on the Brompton  :-\

^^^  Here we have a challenge then.  I will contribute £10 kitty money for any MEMWNS rider whose Garmin says they managed 76kph on the flat

The place is called Cycle Clinic. Carlosfandango and Tedshred have given good accounts of him and he was pretty solid. To be fair the frame was about 40% off the full price which swung me towards the stainless (and I like the shinny).

He has said he will price match on components as well so I think next Saturday morning will be an extended bike shop trip to Glemsford.

Mrs Tippers said something about a new sofa.......I hope a Brooks will suffice  ;D.

I see no reason why a Brooks or two wouldn't be suitable Tippers!

My above Strava post from London to Paris last year has me covering over 76kph max which was on a flat piece of tarmac on the approach into Paris!  ;D

Were you being motorpaced by Lewis Hamilton in his F1 car Del? Could you clarify if this was on the way up TMNH  :o

Fuck off you two.

Anything over 100kph is clearly nonsense.

76kph or over has to be recorded on a MEMWNS ride from this date onwards.

Sounds like a job for motorpacing behind huggy's van!
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Motorpacing isn't allowed either.

The Hustler is just waiting for someone to up the ante before he cuts loose next Wednesday.

OD has probably just signed the rest of us up to several weeks of chain ganging around Essex while DL and his fast gang at the front try to get up to speed
