I'll give it a miss tonight chaps: things to do, work tomorrow etc etc. May see some of you at the Shaftesbury Audaxes in Writtle on Saturday? I'm on the 100 miles version.

I'll try and intercept the peloton by reversing the route - aiming to see you about 20:00

This route goes past The Generals Arms or end of GS's road at about 8:30 (allowing for puffing up there)
Unless he is not hanging around for us to scoop him up.

Dun deal!

I think this was suggested ...

Wednesday 13 April is Easter hols. An more eastern venue (eg Coggeshall, Marks Tey, Alma in Copford) that evening could well tempt me out

I don't believe we've been to the Chapel Inn at Coggeshall recently.

There's a glut of beer festivals on this week so I'll probably stay local, not sure I'd make it that far at the moment... might attempt a ride out tonight if ICBA...

Not sure I'll make this due to mechanicals on the single speed, which I want to bring out.

Spiritual home venture worked so well I took the long way home, however the 20-30 mins of coughing when I got home less so....

I'm potentially a-wheel for Wed I think!

If the Witham peloton fancy a route suggestion for tomorrow evening there's one HERE.

BTW, I'm not feeling 100% so might declare myself unfit.  If I decide I am fit to ride I shall COVID test myself beforehand.

Despite being a bit snuffly I think I will OK for this evening.  And I haven't got COVID

Do any of the Witham peloton fancy having a quick bite to eat, 'spoons perhaps, before we launch at 0930hrs?

Do we think that Scottish bloke who used to ride with us might be out tonight?

I might be up for something to eat just trying to work out the logistics as it's been a long time but I don't think I have the legs for the route from Witham on top of getting there... I'm starting to suffer from colonial interference too...

I could be at 'spoons for 6ish.  I'll massage huggy to see how he's fixed.

If the Witham peloton fancy a route suggestion for tomorrow evening there's one HERE.
Not sure a 2 hour ride to get to Coggeshall to bypass the pub and continue home is the best Wednesday evening plan   ::-)
Never knowingly underfed on an Audax

Has anyone checked that the Chapel Inn is actually open? Just tried calling and there is no answer, their website says opening hours are:
Wed-Sat: 10.30am - 8.00pm
Sun: 10.30am - 3.00pm
