I’m as fit as a fiddle in comparison to some folk, but tonight I embark on part 1 of my journey to Italy.

As an aside, I had to pop into Chelmsford this morning to get spare brake pads. Thought they might come in handy in Italy, assuming I need to brake when tackling the 20,000 metres+ of descending. Anyhow, I notified somebody has stolen the army and navy flyover! I’ve not been in that vicinity since it was removed.

I am on the sicklist too. Who knew that "1 day out of date" coleslaw could make you so poorly (but I do now).

The A&N flyover went some time ago.  It's a shame as we had a plan to ride over it in the dead of night to establish a Strava segment.

Leather Bottle suits me.

If I get Other Stuff sorted, I may ride round The Woodman 100km on Wednesday afternoon, (at least as far as Witham), dine chez Ye 'Spoons and join the Peloton at Spa Road.
