Are you going to take the fixed on our little jaunt, swiss hat ?

No, I'll have gears. Plenty of them. Looking forward to it  :)

Tonight, I too, am back on t'cog.

That nice Dave Yates has repainted my Ebay win of a few months ago.

Aye.  Dave Yates built frames at M Steel Lightweight Cycles until 2005. He then left and moved to Conningsby where he's still building frames (and renovating old ones).

I built the new frame up on Thursday and Friday, and took it for a little 300k jaunt on Saturday.

looks good! suitable for hot climates with the amount of water it can carry. if i had to change anything is raise rear brake bridge by a cm or so to give more room for the tyre/mudguard.

many happy miles!

I do need to adjust the rear mudguard a little more elegantly. They're pre-production samples which I'm supposed to be testing

That does look nice Ian.

Don't snap this one though - or at least not until it's as old as the one you just broke!
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

Worrisit?  Qoroz?  First one of their bikes I've seen that I actually like the look of.  Well done.

It got me round the Brevet Cymru without problem. Yes, it's a Qoroz frame, based roughly on my Omega but with longer wheelbase and horizontal (forward-facing) dropouts.  Most of the bits are off the old fixed.

Nice bike.  Looks similar geometry to mine (61.5cm with slight shorter, semi-sloping TT) ;)
