I'll be heading over from Dunmow about 19:00; should be there by 20:00 - in daylight anyway, hooray! Might do a bit of RoughStuff en-route, Flitch Way, Jollyboys Lane etc. The RS bike has the Camper Longflap for the big jacket, second woolly hat, buffs, jumper, fingerless gloves etc ...

What time does the Witham peloton want to launch tomorrow evening or are we heading over to The Spiritual Home independently?
7?

Seems do-able. I may not stay until closing,  work is proper busy  >:(

I always say that! And always leave at last orders...

I'm afraid something has come up! I can't make it this time, but I might be either celebrating with you or drowning my sorrows with you next time.

Good luck with whatever it is. Thanks for the spot

Oh bother. I had a few signs yesterday, but today I seem to have a nice healthy cold. I'll therefore drop out of this evening's drinks, unfortunately, but I think you'll appreciate my not spreading anything. Also I doubt sitting out in the cold would do me much good.

I'm sure you will all enjoy the evening. First on the road back towards normality, one hopes.

It’s a little chilly in the tent I’m afraid, and the heaters aren’t much cop - it’s so bad in fact that I’ve taken to wearing mittens whilst working...
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

I'm going to arrive a little late.  I have an annoying meeting that ends at 7:30, so I won't be setting off until then.  Probably closer to 8:30 by the time I get to the table.

Does psyclist's note above mean there's a table space free? I still may be able to pop along and was intending to get out in any event.
Turn, turn, turn again
Turn, turn to the rain

Well there's the usual terrible photo, and signs that you might not have spent all of the time since Christmas on the sofa. Plus ca change?

Hello all,

Lovely seeing you guys this evening and great to be out at the pub. Feet frozen but I had a lovely time as usual.

Not sure if this is an okay thing to do here, but was talking to Mr. Fancy Pants this evening about my daughter doing a bit of fundraising. She has already hit her target so this is not a call for donations so much as a heads up that she is performing live on YouTube, Friday 16th at 8.00pm. She's an accomplished Pianist, Flautist and singer and will be doing a mix of classical with a few Disney pieces thrown in for the kids at the school she's fundraising for (and me :-D ).

Justgiving page here, with a link to the concert.

I hope that some of you might like to join for a while.

Thanks,
Nick.

What’s the plan this Wednesday? Do you need tables booked?

You may be the only person willing to put up with us at the moment.

The alternative would be to splinter I suppose.
The pleasure of pain endured
To purify our misfit ways
