Or, how to be unpopular and get hit with several screwed up papers thrown simultaneously from several directions at once.

So, they were going on about petrol prices.  I chipped in, "I'm really worried about the way oil prices are going.  I'll probably need a new tin of 3in1 next year."
 


(Actually, I don't use 3in1, but you have to keep it simple for maximum effect.)

get a similar response here when i tell people that, whilst people are happy to drive less than a mile to work, petrol's tooo cheap

Now there's an idea. If I sell the house I wonder how many large tins of 3in1 I can get with the money. Could be a sound investment.
