Finally gone and done it

There are those of you who will sense a note of déjà vu about my annual posts threatening to buya  dyno-hub. I've finally done it 8)

IQ Fly plus ordered from Bike plus and a Shimano hub on a Chrina rim from Spa Cycles. Hopefully all should arrive in time for the Dun Run.

Expect posts here at the beginning of next week asking for advice on fitting the bloody thing  ::-)

How long did that take you then?  About two and a quarter years, I reckon.

A little longer, I was first converted after the Dun Run in 2005. I should have it installed for my return in 2008 - if only I was in better shape to ride it  :-[

I'm still not there yet, despite deciding to buy one at least two years ago.  I shall see if I break Vince's record...
