Lonicera

I have two climbers in my garden.

Lornica Lonicera by name.
This is their second summer.
I cut them back to around 30cm at the end of last summer.
They're climbing, but not exactly flowering.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Looks like it depends on whether it's an early or late flowering job. One flowers on this year's growth, the other on last year's growth. It might need another year to recover from that haircut

No Google hits for lornica BTW, so I assumed lonicera.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.
