I’ve known Dan for many years . He’s a very highly intelligent man; in fact his A level results were outstanding. He enjoyed his cycling for several years before starting to race; his Father wisely didn’t push him into serious racing despite being a successful professional himself.
He’s used his professional years wisely, and has invested intelligently. I’m guessing he will have had observed how some riders don’t deal well with not being a professional cyclist, and he has well formulated plans going forward.
