Bepro power meter
« on: 20 April, 2016, 06:58:35 pm »
I recently bought a Bepro power meter from bikefast.co.uk so that I can now accurately quantify how bad I am at cycling (and do intervals and pace myself better) but mostly so I have more numbers and graphs to look at.

This is just a heads up for anyone thinking about buying a power meter that these are available in the uk now. They are a pedal based system and the single sided version is only £390 which compares very favourably with other systems. Dcrainmaker has a good review if anyone is interested.

Bump.

The price has gone up to £427.90, probably because of Brexit. But that’s still a comparatively low price for a power meter.

How have you found it in use?

Sorry for late reply just spotted your post.

I have found it useful mostly for interval training and pacing TTs. Accuracy wise it seems to match up pretty well to more expensive units. It's also relatively easy to fit - I have only basic fettling skils and managed without difficulty.
